Apolline Etienne created this work called Special Delivery. This piece of artwork immediately stood out to me because of the contrast of light and dark. Often time artwork that includes dark colors has a grim and dark tone however I believe this piece resonates with joy, hope, and a new beginning.
The hard edges of shapes roll into other shapes so smoothly and effortlessly while also still possessing uniqueness. The use of shadowing is also very impressive to me as most of the detail and imagery is actually focused on the shadow.
